Facts To Know: All wireless gaming consoles like XBox, Nintento, Playstation and the Wii emit radiation. The wireless handsets also emit radiation. Radiation emissions intensify when you are pressing buttons and playing the game.
Important Note: Some base units emit radiation even if the unit is turned "Off." The XBox, even in the "OFF" position, will continue to emit radiation. As long as they are pugged in, they are radiating.
The Simple Solution:
Buy a fully wired systems so that the consoles are wired. If you have a wireless system, please unplug the device when not in use as a first step. Then order a non wireless system.
The Fine Print Warning on the X Box 360 Gaming Console states:
To comply with IC RF exposure compliance requirements, the antenna used for this transmitter must be installed to provide a separation distance of at least 20 cmfrom all persons and must not be co-located or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter.
Buyer Beware: Resting the game console on your belly means you are exposing that area to untested levels of radiation against manufacturers safety warnings (as noted above).
