Henry Lai was lead researcher, scientist  for two decades at the Bioelectromagnetics Research Laboratory, Department of Bioengineering, University of Washington, Seattle, Washington. His research found that microwave radiation at “safe” levels damaged DNA in the brain.  At that time, the cell phone company Motorola Inc. wrote an internal memo that they would “wargame” his science.  After his findings were published, they  attempted to discredit Lai and cell phone proponents funded their own research to confuse the issue and mitigate his findings. Read all about his work and the cover up HERE. Read his research on how funding impacts research findings HERE.

“If we want to wait for final proof, at least in terms of cancer, it may still take 20 years and the issue will become that we will not have unexposed population to act as control.  We may never have the absolute final proof.  But we have enough data to go ahead with a precautionary principle.”

- Annie Sasco, MD, DSc Director, Epidemiology for Cancer Prevention, INSERM,  Formerly International Agency for Research on Cancer, Unit Chief of Epidemiology for Cancer

“We will not get rid of the Internet or computers. We should not ignore, however, the enlarging body of science that points to real threats to public health and, especially, our children’s safety and well-being. The best approach is precautionary. Reduce the risk by reducing the microwave emissions. It is our obligation as physicians and parents to protect our children. They are the future and our legacy.”

-Cindy Russell MD, VP Environmental Health of the Santa Clara Medical Association, from her published  article “Shallow Minds: How the Internet and WiFi Can Affect Learning.”
