People from all over the world are reporting similiar symptoms. Many were in disbelief that it was their own computer or a nearby cell tower causing their symptoms.

Q: What can I do to decrease the risk of my family getting this these symptoms?

A: The best way to protect yourself is simply to avoid common sources of electromagnetic fields. Educate yourself about this issue on our 5 Steps to Safe Tech Page.

Q: What about teachers and students?

A: They need reduced exposures now so they do not develop this illness from daily high power exposures at schools. Legal actions have resulted in accomodations for people in need of radiation free (similiar to smoke-free) workplaces.

Q: What do Doctors say?

A: The medical community is treating and diagnosing this condition worldwide.  In Sweden, ES is classified as a disability and health care facilities with low levels of exposure to electromagnetic fields and radiofrequency radiation are available. The Canadian Human Rights Commission report also acknowledges environmental sensitivity attributed to electromagnetic exposure.

Electromagnetic hypersensitivity - an increasing challenge to the medical profession. Rev Environ Health. 2015 Sep 15.

  • CONCLUSION: It seems necessary to give an International Classification of Diseases to EHS to get it accepted as EMF-related health problems. The increasing exposure to RF-EMF in schools is of great concern and needs better attention. Longer-term health effects are unknown. Parents, teachers, and school boards have the responsibility to protect children from unnecessary exposure.

Sage C. The implications of non-linear biological oscillations on human electrophysiology for electrohypersensitivity (EHS) and multiple chemical sensitivity (MCS). Rev Environ Health. 2015 Sep 12.

  • Electrohypersensitivity (EHS) can be a precursor to, or linked with, multiple chemical sensitivity (MCS) .  Similarity of chemical biomarkers is seen in both conditions [histamines, markers of oxidative stress, auto-antibodies, heat shock protein (HSP), melatonin markers and leakage of the blood-brain barrier]. Low intensity pulsed microwave activation of voltage-gated calcium channels (VGCCs) is postulated as a mechanism of action for non-thermal health effects.

Q: What are the symptoms?

A: The following is a list of common symptoms. It may take 3 to 5 years of chronic exposures for the symptoms to emerge.

  • Neurological: headaches, dizziness/nausea, memory and concentration difficulties, insomnia, tiredness, depression/anxiety, fatigue/weakness, numbness/tingling, muscle and joint pains.
  • Cardiac: heart palpitations, shortness of breath, heart arrhythmias, high blood pressure.
  • Eyes: pain/discomfort, pressure in the eyes, deteriorating vision, cataracts.
  • Ears: ringing in the ears, tinnitus, hearing loss.
  • Pain: A feeling of shooting pain in the head and strange sensations in limbs.
  • Skin: unusual rashes, redness on face.
  • Other: skin problems, digestive problems, dehydration, nosebleeds, impaired sense of smell and light sensitivity.

Allergic to Wireless?

Headaches from your iPhone?

Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity is a growing health issue.

Reports are coming in from all over the world. People are saying "I get sick" after exposures to wireless radiation. Symptoms include headaches, sleep problems, heart palpitations, rashes and dizziness.

Much like an allergy, these symptoms decrease when electromagnetic radiation sources are avoided. Medical experts state this condition will increase exponentially unless we start decreasing daily exposures to wifi.
